MATERNAL OF DIOFIOR

At the Bilingual College of Dakar, most of the students are involved in various projects, all of them important and educational, both in the field of sustainable development and in the humanitarian field.

This year, as in previous years, students of the Second class (Mariama Bousso Diarrietou Sarr, Pamby Aissatou Sandra Wade, Marième Cissé Soda, Asmao Mamba Guirassy and Fatou Mbengue) are engaged in a project that draws more towards humanitarian : The Diofior kindergarten and child helper project.

· Financing
The financial package was initially based on a 3-day food sale on the school grounds in December just before the Christmas break.
Upon return from these, a count of the amount collected was made as well as a list of the needs of the Kindergarten:
Ø Chairs
Ø Slates and chalks
Ø Cushions
Ø Profit Posters
Ø Colored pencils and paper
Ø Slates and chalks
Ø Cushions
Ø lucrative posters
Ø Colored pencils and paper
Ø Toys if possible

· Purchase of equipment
However, upon spring break, the students decided to complete the project with the purchase of the necessary equipment. With the help of a parent, the students were able to buy part of it:
Ø 13 cushions
Ø 10 backpacks
Ø 6 soft toys
Ø 12 reams of paper (8 white, 4 color)
Ø 15 books of graphic design
Ø 24 pencils
Ø 15 boxes of colored pencils (2 years and +) and 10 boxes of markers (1 year and more)
Ø 5 boxes of 100 white chalks and 5 boxes of 10 colored chalks
Ø 20 slates and 22 slate sponges
Ø 10 boxes of 50 sticks

Ø60 erasers

This list will be supplemented by a donation from the association "Solidarité Enfance" and a small help from the school (the list of the remaining material will be in an attached file).
It is around 11:30 that the students welcome the leaders of the association "Espoir Enfants Diofior" within the LCB.
They will discuss projects and objectives to begin and then proceed to the presentation of donations in the presence of Mrs. Vanessa Lionnet and the director of the establishment, Mr. Dia.
Subsequently, we received a fairly favorable return from Kindergarten because the children had the school equipment they needed and can now work in better conditions.
